Today is the perfect day to appreciate a woman in your life who is a role model. We challenge you to call up your mom, a best friend, step mom or grandma and get active with her :)
On another sweet note, did you know that nearly every day of the year is a national food holiday?! Yep...and since we love food, we've teamed up with Livestrong Women to bring you 'Food Holiday' on Livestrong TV. Since apple pie is Karena's favorite treat to whip up on holidays, we thought it would only make since to kick off by celebrating National Apple Pie Day!! Happy hour at the beach... we ordered the ahi poke- it's made with green onions, avocado, sesame seeds and it's usually over brown rice, but we ordered it over cucumber salad. Oh and a glass of cab and a side of sunset ♥
