Motivation Monday

Okay, so it's Monday.  You wake up, sneak in an uber successful booty call, flip a perfect pancake, dress like a total babe, feed Fluffy, grab your keys & phone from exactly where you left them and calmly lunge to your car in your stilettos, right..?

Some mornings we envision to be a little different than how they end up.  The important part is your intention.  Our mornings do not look like this.  We always picture our day to run smoothly and at some point, chaos always seems to break loose.  Every morning we usually end up running into each other 20 times, barging into each other's rooms demanding a shirt the other must have stolen, frantically posting a video while brushing our teeth and feeding all the animals, taking out the trash and getting it all over our outfits and having to change them, making a huge mess of our once organized closets, falling at least 3 times on the way out the door... oh and we always end up forgetting something.  Usually it's Karena forgetting her phone; okay fine it's me :).

If crazy is your normal, congrats!  You're a busy woman!  Roll with the punches and accept that you'll be rushing sometimes, but all will work out the way it's supposed to.  What should you do every morning?  We want you to focus on your intention.  Even if your morning doesn't turn out how you envisioned, it will be close and you'll still have a smile on your face.

Your mornings are the most important part of setting your mood for your day.  It's when your seratonin wants to be pumping through your body, when your brain is awakening and your body is revived and preparing itself for a kick-ass day!   Take just 2 minutes when you first wake up to set your intentions. Walk somewhere in your house that you can focus- how about in front of that vision board you created ;).  Breathe deep, give thanks and list three things you're grateful for: why today is going to be a great day, how you will smile and brighten another's day too, plan to react with compassion and take steps toward your goals and dreams.  Manifest today to be one of your greatest!

Why can't a Monday or Wednesday be the best day ever?  Do everything you set out to do. What's stopping you?  Sure there's a lot going on, but you'll never get today back. This is another reason why we ask you to do your bootycall at least 4 times a week.  Even if you're not a morning person, starting your day with a 30 minute workout will wake up your senses and you'll know that no matter what, you began the day by doing something for your goals!

Today, be:  grateful.  productive.  passionate.  loving.  charismatic.  forgiving.  energetic.  a breath of fresh air to others!

We'll be challenging you to these workouts during the bikini series!  Ready?  Today's workout is the Sweet 16! 16 minutes of being a hot, sweaty mess :)  We also want you to pair this HIIT workout with 30 minutes of toning!  Any of your TIU workouts or 3 sets of the Under The Sea Workout.

If you already worked out, try this out tomorrow morning for your bootycall!  We want you to warm up walking at 4mph for 3 minutes before you dive in.  When you're ready, run as fast as your legs can go for 60 seconds.  Then we want you to walk between 3.5-4 mph for 1 minute.  Repeat this 8 times!  If you're on a track, in your neighborhood, or on the elliptical... go go go!  Just gauge your energy levels babe.  Remember... change is uncomfortable.  Just when you think, 'I can't do any more', PUSH!
