Happy Motivation Monday! We all know how stressful the holidays can get, with family visits, frienzied shopping trips, looming bills, and all the festivities that typically surround the holiday season.. It’s usually looked down upon when we take time off for ourselves since the season of ‘giving’ doesn’t mean giving to ourselves. However, it’s important to remember that neglecting our own mental & physical health has its consequences as well, so being sure to take time for yourself will allow you to spend more time giving back to those you love
Remember to Take Time for Yourself, so that you are able to continue to Give Back to Others!
Giving back is super important, whether its volunteering at a local animal shelter, donating older clothes you haven’t worn in a while to the salvation army, or just spending time with loved ones that happen to live alone. With so many ways to give back, and with such a feeling of selfishness when you take time for yourself, staying on track with your wellness goals can be difficult. One way we combat the hectic holiday schedule is with our BootyCall Workout, a quick morning sweat session, and we recommend you give it a shot! It is the ideal way to get your day going, and it’s super easy, even if it means walking away from your house for 15 minutes, then walking back! Get up and out of the house before anybody else, and give yourself a chance to focus on your needs before you schedule your day around the needs of everybody around you. You’ll find that you will have the strength to accomplish more than if you were forced to leave your exercise and nutrition on the back burner.
